HiBoost Smart Functions
AGC and MGC
Dual band cell phone booster is equipped with automatic and manual gain control circuits (AGC and MGC). AGC automatically regulates signal enhancement power according to the input signal strength. In other words, it fixes a balance between a booster gain and operator cell tower to avoid even slightest interference with operator networks.
LCD Display
The booster is equipped with user-friendly display that shows current booster performance state. Thanks to frequency, gain and output power displayed on it, LCD will also become of a great assistance while installation. LCD displays ISO or ALC alarms to help you fix installation or system problems.
Safe and Healthy
Certifications CE and RoHS
HiBoost Hi17-EW amplifier is 100% safe for humans and environment. According to CE and RoHS approvals, the equipment doesn’t contain any hazardous substances and fully conforms to the European quality and safety legislations. The booster was issued official CE and RoHS certifications in German accredited test laboratory Phoenix Test Lab.
CE – Mandatory conformity marking for products sold within the European Economic Area since 1985. It proves that your product fulfills EU-wide safety, health and environmental protection requirements.
RoHS – The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC. It restricts the use of six hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment: Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE).
Longer Phone Battery Life
Since mobile phone will receive stronger signal in your area, it will stop network search and minimize electromagnetic emissions. As a result, your mobile phone battery will last longer and you and your family with get less radiation in your area.
What is dBm?
Power ratio (in decibels) of the measured power is expressed in dBm. The higher dBm number, the more powerful signal is spread.
Consequently, 17 (20, 23) dBm is more powerful than 13 dBm. This means not only larger coverage zone, but also signal possibility to be spread in several floors, to go through walls, etc.
What are EGSM 900 MHz and UMTS 2100 MHz?
EGSM 900 MHz is a mobile network for voice signal transfer to your mobile phone. EGSM is an upgraded extension of old GSM standard for additional 10 MHz. At the moment all mobile operators provide voice service at EGSM signal standard. The frequency on which voice signal transfer is performed stayed the same – 900 MHz.
UMTS 2100 is a mobile network for 3G data transmission. Mobile operators worldwide send data on 2100 MHz. There’s also UMTS 900 MHz some mobile operator work at predominantly in cities. Hi17-EW supports both EGSM and UMTS 900 MHz.
These two networks are used by all European cellular operators, such as Vodafone, EE, Three, O2, T-Mobile, etc.
The device improves two networks at a time: EGSM/UMTS 900 MHz and UMTS 2100 MHz. If your mobile operators support them, Hi17-EW booster will ensure clear voice conversations and high speed 3G data downloading at a time all around your area.
