74HC595 shift index and LEDs.The 74HC595 is a serial to parallel converter. The chip has eight outputs (which is perfect for our project) and three inputs through which it can be supplied with data. Thanks to the chip, the LEDs can be controlled a little slower, so you can switch the LEDs only 500,000 per second instead of 8,000,000 per second, as would be the case without a chip. Nevertheless, this is still extremely fast, so you will never notice the difference with your eye. |
LCD1602 display module.The display has an LED backlight and can display up to 16 characters on two rows. You can see the square drawing fields as well as the pixels with which the characters are represented when viewed more accurately. The display shows the characters white on a blue background and is intended to display text. |
DC motor and L293D transistorIn this project you will learn how to use a small DC motor with the help of a transistor with a Mega2560 R3 board. L293D transistor can control two motors independently. The L293D is a versatile chip. It can control two motors independently of each other. We use only half of the chip in this lesson, most pins on the right side of the chip are only needed to control a second engine. |
