Description

When working on live electrical equipment you need to have properly insulated tools that we can really rely on.
Our new VDE 1000 insulated screwdriver is the answer to strict requirements; market.
Comfort is essential. The screwdriver consists of a two-component, ergonomically shaped handle characterized by its red-yellow color.
The tools are individually tested to meet the IEC 900, EN 60900 and VDE 0680/02 standards.
FLAMMABILITY TEST: The tools are tested for non-flammability and thus eliminate the risk of fire.
STRENGTH TEST: The tools are tested to withstand a load of 20 N and a temperature of up to + 70°C at 5000 V AC voltage test.
ELECTRICAL TEST: The tools are immersed in water for 24 hours and then connected to 10,000 V for 3 minutes to avoid isolation or defect interruption.
FROST RESISTANCE TEST: The tools are tested for -40°C impact resistance.
The insulating material protects the tool against impact even at extreme temperatures.
INSULATION ADHERENCE TEST: Insulation adhesion to the tool itself is tested to withstand heavy loads.
